At a Glance: The Blaster is primarily responsible for prepping and processing materials through the FMC Back shop, with a primary focus on wash bay operations. Must be able to pass a drug, background, physical, and a Motor Vehicle Record. Schedule: 6:30am-5:00pm Monday - Thursday; Fridays as needed; Some overtime required Location: Tulsa, OK Work Type: On site #LI-Onsite Duration: Contract minimum of 3 months with potential for extension What you will do: Wash product ensuring all oil and dirt is removed. Keep the wash bay, blast booth, and equipment in good working condition. Safely dispose of chemical waste. Other duties as assigned. Demonstrate the H&P Company values: Actively C.A.R.E., Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit, and Teamwork. Secondary Responsibilities: Prep and mask items as needed for blast and paint (taping, plugging holes, blowing the items off with an air gun, etc.). Operate Wheel-a-brater (orbital blasting cabinet). Set up and operate blast booth. Blast all parts to a near white metal finish (SP10). Move product into the blast booth by operating a forklift. Perform shot recovery as needed. Safely load and move materials to work and drying areas by industrial forklift, overhead cranes, and by pulling loaded parts racks. Perform required maintenance on blast booth and equipment. Log blast hours daily.
