About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Bistro Attendant to work at The Landing, located at 3500 Faulkner Drive, Lincoln, NE 68516. The Landing has 90 independent living, 34 assisted living and 14 memory support apartment homes. The schedule for this position will be 8:30am-4:30pm Tuesday through Saturday, including holidays. This position will pay up to $19.68/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. Requirements

  • Two (2) years of food service experience in a casual dining environment or related experience is required.
  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • BLS Certifiication (Basic Life Support) or willing to obtain is required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years old required.

Responsibilities

  • Food/Beverage Preparation Prepare and sell a variety of coffee drinks.
  • Follow recipes and preparation techniques for espresso, café latte, cappuccino and other types of coffee drinks.
  • Prepare foods such as sandwiches, pizzas and salads.
  • Prepare “grab & go” items such as sandwiches, salads various snack items.
  • Operate POS (point-of-sale) system to process orders and charge accounts.
  • Safety/Sanitation Maintain cleanliness of the Bistro and work areas throughout the day.
  • Wash and sanitize Bistro dishes.
  • Sanitize work areas, utensils and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance of food safety and handling policies.
  • Inventory Management Maintain inventories by ensuring coffee bean and brewing supplies are replenished.
  • Assist with ordering inventory by monitoring supplies and equipment.
  • Notify Executive Chef of expected shortages.
  • Other Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
