About The Position

UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital is seeking a Program Manager to support the Women’s Health Service Line!
This position will work primarily daylight hours Monday through Friday. This role will be expected to travel approximately 20%25 of the time to visit each UPMC doula region (UPMC Hamot, UPMC Horizon, UPMC Northwest, UPMC Harrisburg) once per month. This role has a hybrid work arrangement with primarily in person expectations. Hours are subject to change based on business needs.
This role is grant funded.

The Program Manager is responsible for the administrative leadership and direction of the program. This Program Manager will supervise the doulas across UPMC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in a human care or healthcare services field required.
• OR Master’s degree preferred in a human services field with a minimum of two years experience in a healthcare setting.
• At least two years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, direct, and coordinate all day-to-day functions of the program.
• Manage both clinical and administrative issues related to service delivery with other Program staff.
• Manage programmatic issues related to all services.
• Monitor and manage all cases that are either entering or are currently in services.
• Manage and oversee the flow of clinical paperwork related to service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with Administrators to develop and expand the program to meet the needs of the target population as it corresponds to the overall vision of UPMC.
• Develops, monitors, and maintains the Program within the proposed budget.
• Conducts all hiring, promotions, and disciplinary action for program staff in collaboration with Leadership
• Provides or coordinates effective group training and individual supervision for program staff.
