About The Position

Performs evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on devices used in the care and
treatment of patients at UHS facilities. Meets all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements.

Requirements

• An associate degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, or degree in electronic engineering technology , or military/technical training, or equivalent work experience, or biomedical related certification.
• 5 to 8 years of previous related experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with healthcare technology management programs including leadership
• Medical equipment knowledge (manufacturers, models, modalities, capital planning, etc…)
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for medical devices (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC,State, Local).
• Understanding of regulatory requirements of medical devices (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC, State, Local).
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Certification preferred (CBET, CRES, CLES, CABT, CHTM, PMP, AWSCSAA, CISSP, CAN, MLT, CRCST and/or other professional certifications as deemed pertinent by the hiring director.
