About The Position

Join our Applied Research & Technology (ART) team for a hands-on internship where you'll learn cutting-edge bioinformatics techniques and contribute to real-world projects that impact patient care. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in coding, data analysis, and healthcare technology.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or Graduate student in Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or Biology (with interest in bioinformatics)
• Biology required; genetics, computational biology, or computer science helpful
• Experience with R, Linux, and/or Python, required

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with coding best practices and quantitative skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Build analysis pipelines using AWS and RStudio
• Develop custom queries and databases
• Establish and maintain a GitHub repository
• Learn coding best practices
• Analyze results and present findings to various audiences
• Occasionally assist in the commercial lab (e.g., tube labeling, organization)
