About The Position

Hexagon Bio is seeking a motivated and energetic Bioanalytical Scientist to join the Bioanalytical Chemistry team and play a key role in the in vitro and in vivo bioanalysis of antibodies and ADCs. This role is ideal for a hands-on, laboratory-focused researcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to support our preclinical research pipeline. This is a 100% on-site lab-based role.

Requirements

  • Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or a related field.
  • Post-degree (B.S./M.S./PhD) industry experience in biotech or pharma is preferred. Fresh PhD graduates are welcome.
  • Demonstrated quantitative bioanalytical laboratory experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience in ELISA/ECL-MSD based large molecule quantitative bioanalysis.
  • Strong communication skills and highly collaborative cross-functionally across teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and a genuine passion for lab-based scientific work.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience with LC (Liquid Chromatography) and/or mass spectrometry (MS) applications, especially Triple Quadrupole (QQQ) mass spectrometry is a plus.
  • Experience with ADCs and ADC payloads, or targeted oncology therapies is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform method optimization and implementation of LBA (Ligand binding Assay) based bioanalysis of large molecules including antibodies and ADCs.
  • Execute quantitative assays in biological matrices for in vivo PK and TK studies to support the preclinical pipeline.
  • Design and develop specific and sensitive LBA- ECL methods on Meso Scale Discovery instrument.
  • Apply routine sample preparation using manual or automated liquid handling techniques (e.g., Hamilton Microstar).
  • Maintain precise data records, analyze data sets, and interpret results.
  • Collaborate closely with chemistry, protein science, and biology teams to ensure studies are designed and executed appropriately and data and conclusions are presented clearly
  • Contribute to a team culture grounded in scientific rigor, transparency, and collaboration.
