About The Position

The Bingo Attendant shall be in charge of selling entry packets and bingo sheets. Receiving, handling and reconciling money at all bingo sessions and calling back winning bingo numbers and assisting bingo players during bingo sessions. The Bingo Attendant will work under the direct supervision of the session supervisor.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
Comprehensive computer skills.
Previous money handling experience preferred.
Some sales experience.
Must have mathematical skills to be proficient in balancing banks and department documents.
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Good organizational and clerical skills required.
Must be able to obtain gaming license.
Must have a telephone.
Must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds.
Must be able to withstand a smoky environment for extended periods of time, with direct exposure to secondhand smoke.

Nice To Haves

Bi-cultural experience preferred.
Native American preference.

Responsibilities

Count and assure the accuracy of all issued inventory and cash at the start and end of each session.
Work primarily in his or her assigned work area (assigned prior to each session.)
Return all monies and unsold inventory to the session supervisor.
Keep his or her area neat and orderly throughout the bingo session. Perform general clean up at the session’s end.
Perform payout duties.
Be responsible for all money in the cash register for each bingo session.
Have the proper amount of change on hand for each register.
Be held accountable for all double-counts of tills for each session.
Reconcile the money from each session.
Must attend all meetings and/or training as directed by management.
Must be able to interact successfully with associates and guests.
Perform all other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
