Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of consecutive experience in an accounting or billing-specific role (experience with a single company is highly preferred).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with Salesforce and budgeting software (Adaptive, QuickBooks, or similar tools).
• Education: A solid foundation in bookkeeping or accounting principles; must understand the "why" behind the numbers.
• Location: This is a 100% in-office position at our Winston-Salem, NC, location.
• Core Competencies: Must be a self-starter with a "precision mindset" and the ability to meet strict deadlines without hand-holding.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Coupa or Dayforce is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the Billing Cycle: Manage the end-to-end billing process for third-party general contractors and growing specialty segments.
• Third-Party Portal Management: Maintain and navigate various third-party payer logins to ensure pay apps and invoices are submitted accurately and on time.
• Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Pull opportunities from Salesforce, format data, and upload it into our budgeting system (Adaptive) with 100% accuracy.
• Field Collaboration: Partner closely with Field Accountants and Branch Managers to verify billing accuracy before it reaches the customer.
• Aging Management: Monitor and assist in managing the aging of specialty billing invoices to ensure a healthy cash flow.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks or gaps in the current billing workflow and take the initiative to implement smarter, more efficient solutions.
• Financial Reporting: Maintain detailed logs to provide real-time updates on billing percentages and submission statuses to leadership.
