About The Position

Billing Specialist | Greenville The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking an entry-level Billing Specialist to join our corporate office team in Greenville. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you! Pay range: $15-$17 hour, based on experience and education. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize work effectively.
Hands-on experience working with general ledgers preferred.
Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

Post and process billing, payments and returned customer payments.
Monitor, process, and update accounts receivable.
Analyze and reconcile remittance statements and ledgers.
Analyze customer account statuses, transactions, and balances to ensure accuracy.
Act as a liaison for third-party agencies to create, process, and reconcile subsidy payments.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
