About The Position

VP Racing is seeking an on-site Billing & Shipping Representative to join our high-performance Accounting team at our Elmendorf, TX location. In this critical role, you’ll help keep our operations running smoothly by ensuring accurate billing, precise order entry, and seamless coordination between customers, carriers, and internal departments.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability.
• We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required and 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service — both over the phone and in person.
• Accurately enter sales orders into the system to ensure timely processing and fulfillment.
• Prepare and verify bills of lading for outbound shipments.
• Assist walk-in customers with professionalism and efficiency.
• Generate freight reports for A/P entry.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems.
• Serve as back-up for the front-desk receptionist, managing a multi-line phone system.
• Support smooth communication between Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure accuracy and compliance across shipments and invoices.
