The opportunity We currently have an opportunity for a Billing Operations Manager to join our Finance team based in our Canton, MA office on a hybrid schedule. The Billing Operations Manager develops plans, analyzes results and oversees work of Billing Operations Supervisors and support staff. Responsible for operational support needs of the Billing Operations department through the management of the billing and collections functions. Monitors the department’s performance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the team’s contributions to the overall Billing Operations goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in insurance billing and collections, with 3-5 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic leadership and direction to supervisors and staff, with full accountability for departmental performance and results.
  • Partners with divisional peers, field offices, and home office teams to address billing and collections matters within scope of responsibility.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to drive productivity, quality, and operational effectiveness.
  • Introduces and executes process improvements and programs to enhance team performance and capabilities.
  • Fosters a collaborative, team-oriented environment that supports ongoing professional development and career growth.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to exceed internal and external customer expectations while balancing organizational priorities.
