The Billing/Collections Specialist will work closely with customers and multiple internal departments, assisting with all billing and collections responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to take their administrative skills to the next level. Hunter Communications is the largest, privately held fiber optic network in the State of Oregon and is continuing to grow. Established in 1994, Hunter Communications has several offices throughout the State of Oregon and has been involved in a variety of cabling and installation services to Oregon customers and throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Requirements

  • This position requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in operations administration or in a related area.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Google Suite required.
  • The employee must be able to rely on limited experience and/or training and use sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in Telecommunications related job fields.

Responsibilities

  • Primary for answering billing/collections calls.
  • Manage past due billing queue, and all past dues.
  • Back up for daily check processing.
  • Processing payments, updating CC info and auditing customer accounts.
  • Works with billing team to respond to all billing email inquiries
  • Credit card Declines, emailing customers their to get updated information on declined
  • Process all ACH payments/bank payments.
  • Process Monthly Bill Cut
  • Work billing tickets/tasks in a timely manner with excellent customer service and attention to detail.
  • Work with the accounting team to process customers to collections.
