The Billing & Membership Specialist plays a key role in supporting members by managing billing, payments, and membership processes with accuracy, care, and consistency. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being the go-to person, solving problems, working with data, and helping members feel supported and confident in their membership experience.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Friendly, clear communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
  • Basic accounting coursework or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage annual member billing renewals and updates
  • Process member payments and store sales accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor and respond to billing inquiries from members
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies, credits, and adjustments
  • Support billing communications and service suspension processes
  • Assist with reporting and basic accounting tasks
  • Prepare billing documentation for semi-annual C.A.R. approval
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for billing and membership questions
  • Build familiarity with membership benefits and services to better support members
  • Support New Member Orientation and onboarding
  • Identify trends and suggest improvements to billing and membership workflows
