About The Position

As a Community Outreach Worker at TrueCare, you will serve as a frontline ambassador, engaging with underserved populations to connect them with essential health services and education. Your role involves coordinating and attending community events, distributing educational materials, and collaborating with internal departments and external agencies to promote health awareness and increase patient enrollment. This position is crucial for reducing barriers to care, improving health outcomes, and fostering trust between TrueCare and the communities it serves.

Requirements

  • Local candidates will be considered
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Associate degree in healthcare or related field, or 2+ years of equivalent experience in outreach or healthcare customer service
  • Knowledge of local community-based agencies
  • Experience conducting health screenings and community presentations in the city of Perris and neighboring communities
  • Availability to work outside of standard hours (e.g., evenings, weekends)
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills to engage with community members
  • Ability to build relationships across diverse populations
  • Will require to use own vehicle to travel daily to outreach venues
  • A California Driver's License
  • Proof of automobile insurance
  • A clean driving record (no tickets or accidents)
