About The Position

The RAS Sales Specialist provides technical support and expertise for all sales activities within MDI, assisting in both new business acquisition and ongoing customer engagement. This role is critical in managing the sales process, overseeing installation and training, and delivering outstanding support to retail clients. Must be located in or willing to relocate to: Virginia (Richmond), West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Rally/Durham NC Bilingual in English/Spanish

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or computer science (preferred).
• Experience in retail grocery operations or relevant applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel; organizational and programming skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish

Nice To Haves

• Store management experience with P&L responsibility is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Identifying potential customers, assessing their requirements, and proposing appropriate solutions.
• Product Demonstration: Presenting product features and benefits to customers in a clear and informative manner.
• Support the management of CRM systems and sales lead pipelines, delivering weekly updates to track progress, identify opportunities, and support strategic sales initiatives
• Project Development: Participate in the creation of new RAS products and services for retail clients.
• Technical Conversions: Oversee scan file conversions, coordinate with POS vendors, support electronic payments transitions, and deliver on-site assistance during new business conversion.
• Consulting: Offer expert advice to retail clients solving complex, technical business challenges.
• Leadership & Teamwork: Demonstrate proactive leadership and foster collaboration within the sales and service team
• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and communicate insights into product development teams.
• Professional Development: Take ownership of personal growth, suggest relevant training, and encourage ongoing development for colleagues
