Job Overview At eBay, we're pushing the boundaries of ecommerce and transforming the automotive parts industry with our latest solutions. As a Bilingual Quality Assurance Specialist (Automotive Parts), based in Austin, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our powerful experiences. Your bilingual (English/Spanish) skills and industry expertise will be key in improving the reliability of our platform. This is a ground breaking opportunity to merge your automotive knowledge with innovative technology in a dynamic and collaborative environment!

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, comfortable with phone-based testing.
  • Strong automotive parts and fitment knowledge from supply chain or repair service experience.
  • Familiarity with automotive catalog concepts and/or Auto Care ACES/PIES.
  • Experience in structured Quality Assurance testing, including writing test cases, reproducing issues, and detailing defects.
  • Diligent with the ability to work with call transcripts and logs.
  • Strong communication skills and follow-through with product, engineering, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end testing of our human to AI interactions and experiences that automotive professionals use to purchase parts.
  • Conduct the test in both English and Spanish to guarantee accuracy and consistency.
  • Validate AI fitment clarification behavior to provide accurate answers.
  • Examine call transcripts and logs, generating clear and actionable defect reports.
  • Offer input on new features and requirements based on testing results.
  • Support catalog quality initiatives to resolve data content issues impacting fitment and lookup accuracy.
