About The Position

DirectHire Evening Part-Time Bilingual HR Onboarding Specialist Schedule Part-time | Evening hours (typically 4–6 hours per shift) Flexible scheduling may be available Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Bilingual HR Onboarding Specialist to support our evening operations. This role is responsible for guiding new hires through the onboarding process, assisting employees with required documentation, and ensuring all onboarding tasks are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is bilingual, organized, responsive, and comfortable communicating across multiple platforms during evening hours.

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish required, additional languages a plus)
  • Previous experience in HR, onboarding, staffing, or administrative roles preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable communicating across multiple platforms (phone, video, text, email)
  • Proficient with HR systems and basic office software
  • Ability to work evening hours consistently
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire onboarding sessions in a professional, welcoming, and bilingual manner
  • Assist employees with completing onboarding documentation and answering questions related to forms, policies, and employment requirements
  • Collect, review, and process employment documentation (I-9, W-4, direct deposit, acknowledgments, policies, etc.)
  • Verify identity and employment eligibility in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Ensure onboarding tasks are completed within required deadlines and compliance timelines
  • Track onboarding progress and follow up with employees regarding missing or incomplete documentation
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems
  • Clearly explain company policies, procedures, job expectations, and next steps
  • Be available and responsive to employees via phone calls, video calls, text messages, and written communication (email/chat)
  • Communicate effectively with recruiters, operations, and internal HR teams
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
  • Support additional HR administrative and onboarding-related tasks as needed
