Position Summary: The Bilingual Community Education Manager leads the collaborative, cross-departmental prioritization process for community education needs in Spanish, manages Spanish language materials, and supports effective dissemination and utilization of CF Foundation Spanish educational content. This position plays a key role in ensuring newly diagnosed adults and families have access to relevant, accurate, and culturally appropriate information in both English and Spanish. This role collaborates extensively with other departments to align with education efforts across the organization and advance the strategic goals to engage and support the CF community. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a health-related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public health, adult education, or a health-related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with cataloging systems, digital libraries, or content management tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Data-driven; enthusiasm for continuous learning and refinement based on analytics; eagerness to understand and act on community insights and resource utilization metrics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and disciplines.
  • Familiarity with health literacy principles and inclusive education practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a system-thinking mindset.
  • Ability to design and implement strategic frameworks including needs assessment, prioritization, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze community insights, engagement data, and health trends to identify education gaps and needs for the Hispanic CF community and newly diagnosed individuals and families.
  • In partnership with internal stakeholders, identify priority topics and help inform strategies to address community education needs related to new diagnosed and the CF Hispanic community.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to help align community education efforts and streamline resource development and dissemination for newly diagnosed and CF Hispanic community.
  • Ensure Spanish-language materials meet health literacy standards and are culturally and linguistically appropriate.
  • Maintain centralized repository of Spanish language materials; track revisions, translations, needed updates, and utilization.
  • Support dissemination and equitable access to educational resources across diverse community segments via existing CFF programs.
  • Serve on cross-functional working groups to achieve alignment, coordination, and collaboration in support of department and Foundation goals.
  • Assist with other CF Foundation support programs as assigned by Senior Director, Support, Connection, and Education.
