Job Summary: Veo is seeking an E-Scooter Delivery Driver to support fleet operations by relocating scooters, assisting with battery swaps, and helping ensure vehicles are available, charged, and properly staged throughout the service area. This role is ideal for someone dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Contractors are not classified as W-2 employees and are therefore responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits. This position does not include company-sponsored benefits such as medical, dental, vision, or PTO. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and candidate qualifications. Pay Range $15.50—$16.50 USD
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving and working independently in the field
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull scooters weighing up to 80 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
- Comfortable using smartphone apps and technology for daily tasks
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse work, logistics, or field operations
- Experience working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Familiarity with electric scooters, bikes, or micromobility operations
Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload e-scooters as needed
- Redistribute scooters throughout the market based on operational needs
- Perform battery swaps to keep vehicles charged and available for riders
- Conduct basic visual inspections to identify damaged or unsafe vehicles
- Use smartphone apps to track tasks, routes, and vehicle status
- Maintain organization of vehicles and equipment at the warehouse
- Follow company processes and safety guidelines at all times
- Support additional field and warehouse tasks as assigned
