About The Position
E-Scooter Delivery Driver – W2 (Part-Time Seasonal Role) Shift Option Work Schedule: Morning Shift – Monday through Sunday | 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM Location: 100 Prestige Park Rd East Hartford, CT 06108 Candidates must have their own reliable transportation to commute to and from the warehouse. Job Summary Veo is seeking operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining our vehicles and improving the efficiency of fleet operations. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate, swap batteries, rebalance vehicles throughout the city, and perform quality checks and minor repairs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active throughout their shift, and working both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Comfortable driving a company van
- Smartphone savvy and comfortable using mobile applications
- Ability to lift and move scooters weighing up to 60 lbs without assistance
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the East Hartford area and surrounding streets
- Flexible availability (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends)
- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or related fields
Responsibilities
- Follow mobile app instructions to complete assigned shift tasks
- Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap batteries
- Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
- Perform basic repairs and quality checks
- Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters
- Complete additional operational duties as assigned
