About The Position

Our client, a leader in the iGaming industry based in Malta, is currently seeking a dynamic and proactive BI Analyst to join their commercial and technical operations teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering insights into areas of improvement, while also contributing to the growth of the department as it continues to grow. This position offers exposure to both business intelligence and technical support, providing an excellent opportunity to develop into a well-rounded professional within the iGaming industry.
Candidate Profile:
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a natural drive to succeed, while maintaining professionalism, composure, and a courteous approach at all times.
Shows a keen interest in the online gambling industry, particularly within the casino segment; prior B2B experience is considered a strong advantage.
Possesses a strong analytical mindset, with hands-on experience in SQL (queries, joins, filtering) and data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau (dashboards, data models, visuals).
Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Has an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken; additional languages are advantageous.
Is organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with the ability to balance data-focused tasks alongside client-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Utilise data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Apply strong SQL skills, with a preference for candidates who also have knowledge of Python for data querying and manipulation.
• Develop DAX measures and maintain scalable data models to support self-service reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Commercial, Finance) to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Conduct regular audits of back-office data against BI reports to ensure complete accuracy of metrics.
• Support the transition and management of data within Microsoft Fabric, including working with OneLake, Lakehouses, and Warehouses.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Work with (or develop knowledge of) DirectLake mode to enable near real-time reporting.
