About The Position

Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by assisting in assessing the quality of care and services provided by CHAS Health as follows:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Public Health, Life Sciences, or related field preferred. Combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 3 years experience working with data, report building /interpretation, analysis, and at least one computer programming language required.
  • Proficiency in Excel required.
  • Spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software including all Microsoft Office applications experience required.
  • Strong problem solving, communication and customer service skills, as well as commitment to quality required.
  • Ability to self-direct and determine priorities required.
  • Confidentiality, accuracy, and thoroughness required.
  • Valid drivers’ license and insurance required.
  • Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and a working knowledge of analytic/report writing programs including Microsoft SQL, SSAS, and Tableau preferred.
  • Experience working with an Electronic Health Record preferred.
  • Data visualization and presentation experience with Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the design and maintenance of corporate quality improvement data and reporting suite.
  • Works collaboratively with stakeholders to develop standard metrics based on clinical goals.
  • Develops subject matter expertise around clinical data and workflows to participate in project teams as needed.
  • Monitors and validates source data and end user reports as needed.
  • Assists in researching and creating new clinical reporting solutions.
  • Extracts data from data warehouse using a variety of software programs to design, analyze and disseminate reports based on Population Health and Quality Improvement Goals to internal and external sources.
  • Makes recommendations and reports findings to management and other staff based on continuing analysis of data.
  • Trains end users on how to use existing BI tools, reports, and dashboards.
  • Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
