About The Position

Responsible for delivering benefit technology services to clients who have outsourced all or part of their benefits administration. Key functions include managing client benefit administration portals, assisting in the review and recommendation of technology products for clients, auditing data feeds, and Open Enrollment management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages technology platforms including employee self-service modules and eligibility maintenance for health and welfare benefit plans for multiple clients.Responsible for the set-up, auditing and testing of enrollments system platforms.Java scripting within benefit administration system.Coordinates transfer or election data to providers, including EDI resolution.Responsible for coordination and resolution of carrier discrepancy reports.Acts as the point person for internal team and clients on system related issues.Manages the set-up of HRIS and payroll vendor interfaces.Provides support and communication to employer or HR representatives.Performs ongoing monthly audits, and additional audits as needed.Builds and configures reports defined by specifications of client and/or external carrier parties.Processes discrepancy reports as they relate to the file build presented by the carrier.General IT duties as assigned.Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and insurance experience
  • Four (4) or more years of related work experience in Benefits with employer, insurer, or TPA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong systems knowledge and ability to learn/troubleshoot new systems easily
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
