About The Position

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end administration of employee benefits programs across the U.S., while supporting global benefits initiatives. You will oversee the full benefits lifecycle, including enrollments, life events, leaves of absence, retirements, and terminations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and employee-focused delivery. The position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can navigate complex regulations, collaborate across HR, payroll, and finance, and provide strategic insights to leadership. You will act as the primary point of contact for employees on benefits matters, fostering a positive employee experience and supporting total rewards initiatives. The ideal candidate is experienced in U.S. benefits administration, 401(k) plan management, and HRIS systems, and thrives in a remote-friendly, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 3 years focused on U.S. benefits administration.
  • Hands-on experience managing 401(k) retirement plans and participating in annual audits.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits and leave regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA).
  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms, and collaborating with payroll, finance, and external vendors.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of supporting employees across diverse teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Own administration of U.S. employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, and retirement plans.
  • Manage enrollments, open enrollment, life events, leaves of absence, COBRA, and employee terminations with accuracy and compliance.
  • Administer the U.S. 401(k) retirement program, including contribution changes, loans, distributions, and annual audits.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for employees, managers, brokers, carriers, and vendors regarding benefits inquiries and plan details.
  • Monitor benefits utilization, costs, and trends, providing insights and recommendations for program performance and competitiveness.
  • Support global benefits programs by aligning practices, processes, and communications across regions.
  • Maintain clear, employee-friendly documentation, communications, and reports to support HR and Finance operations.
