About The Position

Effectively administer all aspects of the Company’s benefits program and vendors, including retirement, medical, dental, vision, life and disability, health savings accounts, COBRA, ACA, FMLA/Non FMLA LOA, and workplace injury. Assist employees with benefits, claim resolution, and liaison with carriers. Processes monthly billings from insurance provider’s invoices. Reviews billing for accuracy, coding, and payment. Resolves discrepancies with carriers, payroll, and the company. Assist employees with Leaves of Absence and manage leave requests and accommodations for employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Coordinate the maintenance of employee enrollment and contribution information in the Company’s payroll system, and ensure the timely and accurate processing of additions, changes, and terminations Provides a variety of administrative tasks for the Human Resources department. Assist with management of Workers Compensation regarding injuries in the organization. Follow and remain current on benefit and FMLA LOA and ADA related laws, regulations, and requirements Follow all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements Abide by all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum of four years of experience in administration of employee benefits; multi-state experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable navigating through FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA, and other complex regulations
  • Must have experience working within an HRIS/HCM (Ceridian/Dayforce preferred)
  • Must have experience filing annual forms 5500, 1095, EE0-1, and OSHA 300 reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer literacy
  • Organized work habits, accuracy, and proven attention to detail, with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
