About The Position

As a Regional Lead, you will guide a team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining benefits programs throughout the region. This leadership role requires close collaboration with insurance providers and other external partners to ensure our offerings are competitive and aligned with industry standards. This is a hands-on opportunity to support our H&W benefit plans and involves a comprehensive range of tasks requiring expertise in benefits, compliance, vendor management, and employee communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
  • 7+ years of experience managing benefits and/or retirement plans.
  • A self-starter that is detailed oriented and motivated to achieve results.
  • Knowledge of statutory laws and regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA, and Non-discrimination testing.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and consolidate data as a practical approach to building robust processes and policies.
  • Ability to engage and communicate with employees, understand their needs, and educate others on our leave policies.
  • Benefits project management skills.
  • Capable of overseeing projects across various time zones.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally between Benefits, HR, Payroll, and IT.
  • Excellent Microsoft Application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Regional Benefits Management: Oversee a team responsible for supporting and administering competitive benefits programs across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
  • Support Global Initiatives: Partner with the Global Head of Benefits to achieve strategic objectives, including the execution of global initiatives and special projects related to H&W programs.
  • Program Analysis & Budgeting: Conduct or assist with the analysis and budgeting of key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of benefits programs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and anticipate legal and regulatory changes affecting H&W plans, proactively identifying solutions to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and our Global Benefits Broker, supporting the research, selection, and implementation of new plans and programs.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships, including managing invoicing, program changes, and contract negotiations to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Renewals & RFP Support: Assist leadership with benefits vendor renewals and the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
  • Employee Education: Develop clear policies and documentation to educate employees about available benefits and company leave programs.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure all benefits and leave programs comply with applicable federal and state laws.
