This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects. The Summer Benefits Intern will support the Benefits team with day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs. This internship provides hands-on exposure to benefits operations, compliance, and employee support while gaining practical HR experience in a professional environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • High level of attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); HRIS experience a plus
  • Exercise discretion and good judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Positive attitude approaching any task no matter how big/small.
  • Approaches projects with creativity and is willing to think outside of the box.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in employee benefits and human resources
  • Willing to travel for Denver, Colorado for the intern kickoff week and possibly the Intern executive presentations.
  • Rising juniors and seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Applicants to be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis from June to August 2026.
  • Must be willing to commit to a 10-week internship I the Summer of 2026 (June-August) on a full-time basis.
  • Enthusiastic about technology and committed to professional development.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to learn and collaborate with your teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness, and retirement plans
  • Support benefits enrollment processes, audits, and data verification
  • Respond to basic employee benefit inquiries and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with benefits communications, presentations, and educational materials
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems
  • Support compliance activities such as documentation and reporting
  • Participate in special projects related to benefits and HR initiatives
