Overview Dyste Williams has joined forces with Gallagher and we're looking to add a Benefits Consultant to our growing sales team! As a global leader in insurance brokerage and risk management, our ideal candidate will be a dynamic professional who will drive revenue growth by building and maintaining valuable relationships with prospects and clients in the employee benefits sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and close deals effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain valuable relationships with clients, prospects, and team members
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members at all levels
  • Staying informed about industry, market, and legislative changes that impact benefits design and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and acquire new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients, focusing on small to mid-size companies with high revenue.
  • Collaborate in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel.
  • Build a pipeline of business opportunities, balancing new client acquisition and account expansion.
  • Introduce Gallagher's full-service offerings to enhance client relationships, while mentoring staff in sales and service requirements.
  • Provide deep technical expertise and business insight to help clients reduce costs, manage risks, and improve benefits competitiveness.
