Requirements

  • Associate degree required.
  • 0–2 years of experience; HR or benefits exposure is helpful but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Customer-service mindset with patience and empathy.
  • Some travel may be required during summer months.

Responsibilities

  • Assist coworkers with benefits enrollment, changes, and general questions.
  • Process benefit-related paperwork for new hires, terminations, and life events.
  • Maintain accurate benefit records and support routine reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
  • Participate in audits and assist with preparing required documentation.
  • Coordinate with benefit vendors to resolve basic issues.
  • Support wellbeing initiatives, engagement programs, and process improvements.
