Are you ready? As a Benefits Coordinator you will maintain and oversee benefits related data and processes. You will provide support and assistance to employees, former employees, retirees, surviving dependents, and their legal representatives and peers relating to all Company benefits. In this role you will: Complete all phases of pension and beneficiary processes including benefit calculations, notification of benefits, commencement of pension payments, and management of documentation. Assist customer base with plan related issues and requests including but not limited to COBRA, eligibility, claim escalation/resolution, life events, open enrollment, and retirement. Maintain system data as required. Process invoices and exception reports from vendors; work with IT and Corporate HR to resolve issues; maintain a working relationship with vendor representatives. Maintain process documentation. Actively participate in projects, and suggest ideas for Continuous Improvement. Mentor peers regarding benefits knowledge and service standards. Participate in Peer to Peer Auditing, e.g., pension calculations. What you bring to the table: 1 year of experience: benefit coordination and customer service 2-3 years’ experience: prior company experience Four-year degree Knowledge of Workday and HRIS Knowledge of benefits including pensions & estate planning Oral and written communication skills Customer service skills Problem solving skills Intermediate Excel skills & data analytics Microsoft Office Suite skills Computer skills Ability to multitask Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Why should you join Graybar?
