The Benefits Coordinator verifies patient benefits and manages patient’s accounts according to MSPB standards. Will organize and keep all pertinent patient information in correct patient’s files. This position will verify patient eligibility, coordinate benefits, and determine patient coverage/financial responsibility for services. Will also ensure all benefits are checked prior to scheduled appointments; will verify and review coverage with patient and determine estimated financial responsibility of patient; will create payment arrangement schedules as necessary.
