Provides analytical and other professional level support to the benefits function. May include special projects and studies, preparation of communications materials, and training on benefits information to a various audiences. May conduct orientation programs on benefits. Conducts and analyzes survey results to assist in comparing benefit plans. Collects and organizes data for actuarial studies and participates in reviews of that data. Drafts benefit communications materials. Maintains benefits records and documents. Advises employees on interpretation of plan provisions and conducts preretirement counseling.
