About The Position

The Benefits Analyst is a member of the Total Rewards team working under the general direction of Benefits Manager. The Benefits Analyst is responsible for administering employee benefits programs, including health, welfare, retirement, wellness and others. Applies subject matter expertise for consulting with employees, assuming overall responsibility for research, analysis, evaluation, and administration where needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field with 2+ years related experience.
  • Working knowledge of health, welfare and retirement benefit plans as well as related laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Experience with benefits billing and premium reconciliation, including reviewing monthly carrier invoices, identifying discrepancies, coordinating corrections with vendors, and ensuring accurate payroll deductions.
  • Experience supporting annual open enrollment, RFPs, vendor management, and plan audits
  • Analytical mindset with strong, proactive curiosity and problem-solving ability.
  • Proven team and customer service excellence mindset.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (UKG, Workday, ADP, or similar).
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and create reports using Excel or similar tools (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex benefit concepts in a simple, understandable way.
  • Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from the Department of Justice.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
