About The Position

Responsible for building, assembling, and repairing foundry tooling and related components. Performs polishing, welding, assembly, and inspection of molds, coreboxes, and related equipment to ensure quality and accuracy in support of manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ foundry tooling knowledge and work experience building and assembling foundry tooling.
• Proficiency with computer software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Use 3-D software to view designs.
• Polish patterns, coreboxes, and mold cavities.
• Spot partings on coreboxes and molds.
• TIG weld for mold cavity repair preferred.
• Assemble complex molds and coreboxes, including plumbing and electrical assembly.
• Work with complex bills of materials.
• Operate basic machine tools as required.
