About The Position

Accurate Castings is a multi-foundry organization including a separate and specialized casting cleaning operation, machining operation and pattern shop. Accurate Castings, Inc. does business as Hiler Industries. Essential Functions · Create accurate core boxes and mold pattern plates for the making of shell/core molds, and make tools needed to support the foundry/cleaning facilities · Understand and be able to efficiently operate both manual machines and CNC mills · Fundamental computer operation skills · Cad/Cam skills preferred format is with Autodesk Power Shape and Power Mill software · Blueprint interpretation including GD&T and some shop math · Knowledge of gauges and metrology · Organize and keep work area and machine clean Occasional Functions · Drive to other local site locations Requirements Physical Requirements · Ability to properly maneuver and lift up to 80 pounds · Stamina of standing at a workstation up to 8 hours per day while sanding, grinding, drilling, etc. Cognitive Ability · Functionally comprehend safety instructions, quality standards, work instructions, and instructions related to general conduct, whether such information is communicated through written or verbal means · Organize and manage multiple assignments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 Years Job Shop experience
• Knowledge of decimals, basic trigonometry, tolerance
• Ability to properly maneuver and lift up to 80 pounds
• Stamina of standing at a workstation up to 8 hours per day while sanding, grinding, drilling, etc.
• Functionally comprehend safety instructions, quality standards, work instructions, and instructions related to general conduct, whether such information is communicated through written or verbal means
• Organize and manage multiple assignments.

Nice To Haves

• Cad/Cam skills preferred format is with Autodesk Power Shape and Power Mill software
• Knowledge of foundry
