About The Position

Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As an Entry Level Bellows Fabricator, you will learn to create precision metal bellows used in critical applications. Working under the guidance of experienced technicians, you'll develop specialized skills in forming and inspecting thin-wall metal bellows. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in a specialized field with applications across multiple high-tech industries.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of metal fabrication concepts
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Willingness to learn specialized fabrication techniques

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with thin-wall Inconel or similar nickel-based alloys
  • Familiarity with precision measurement tools
  • Technical training in metal fabrication
  • Experience in aerospace or other precision manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

  • Learn to form and assemble precision metal bellows components
  • Set up and operate specialized forming equipment
  • Follow detailed work instructions and engineering specifications
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments
  • Maintain production documentation and quality records
  • Perform basic material preparation tasks
  • Assist with production workflow to meet delivery schedules
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
