About The Position
Standard Iron is looking for skilled Fabricators to join our Architectural Metals Division. For over 80 years, we have delivered high-quality fabrication and erection services nationwide. If you value Safety, Respect, Pride in Work, and Continuous Improvement, we want you on our team You will perform complex weldments and layouts for architectural projects, including stairs and railings.
Requirements
- Previous fabrication experience is required.
- Proficiency in reading architectural prints and interpreting AWS weld symbols.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a commitment to quality.
Nice To Haves
- Technical college degree is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to lay out stairs and rail systems.
- Execute diversified weldments using accurate AWS weld symbols.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure all components meet strict tolerances.
- Ability to certify to 3/8” plate (AWS D1.1) and 1G flat position.
