About The Position

Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel is looking for a full-time Bell Person, who would report to the Front Office Manager. The Bell Person is responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient luggage assistance to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout. For this position, a high school diploma is required and experience in a hotel or related field is preferred. Some of the essential functions of the position include: Escorting hotel guests to rooms and assisting with luggage to and from guestrooms. Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming when working. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees. Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel. Answer guest inquires about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner. Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions. Why join our team?
