About The Position

- The Behavioral Tech III at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing advanced support and care to clients with behavioral health needs during Shift 2. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, monitoring client progress, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for recovery and rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.

Nice To Haves

  • CNA preferred
  • Desirable to have experience working with psychiatric or co-occurring consumers of all ages

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and any incidents in a detailed and accurate manner.
  • Provide direct care and support to clients, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops as part of the therapeutic program.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to support the treatment process.
