About The Position

- The Behavioral Tech III at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing advanced support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs during Shift 2. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Proven track record in crisis intervention and management.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
  • Competency in using electronic health records and other healthcare management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals.
  • Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and any changes in condition, providing detailed reports to the clinical team.
  • Facilitate group and individual therapeutic activities, promoting engagement and participation among clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including therapists and counselors, to deliver comprehensive care and support to clients.
  • Respond to crisis situations with appropriate interventions, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff members and participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in behavioral health care.
