Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs)-Overnight Shift
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for the overnight shift at its Bucks location. Avenues Recovery Center is a national network of drug and alcohol rehab centers known for its evidence-based clinical curriculum and highly individualized care, offering a range of programs including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The BHTs will be responsible for managing daily residential operations, supporting the BHT team, escalating concerns to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician, fostering client engagement and morale, and ensuring compliance with all Avenues rules and policies. The Bucks facility provides community-based, residential-style outpatient treatment and partners with Crosswalk Sober Living to offer clients a beautiful domestic setting with 24/7 supervision and care. The team at Avenues includes skilled therapists, nurse practitioners, addiction counselors, and behavioral health technicians dedicated to providing effective treatment experiences.
Requirements
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
- Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
- Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
- Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
- Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
- Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
