About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with eighteen locations across seven states. Offering the very highest standard of medical and clinical treatment, our services span every level of care - including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. Avenues is both JCAHO and CARF accredited, and in full compliance with all ASAM standards. The company seeks compassionate professionals for stimulating yet meaningful work. The position is located at Avenues Recovery Center at Louisiana, a residential facility offering inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services and withdrawal management. This unique setup features one treatment facility surrounded by 10 beautiful, converted townhomes, allowing clients to engage in full-time inpatient treatment while residing in a warm domestic setting, which removes barriers and diminishes any institutionalized feeling. Staff members provide round-the-clock care in a dignified and compassionate manner, fostering a homelike atmosphere.

Requirements

If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
Dignified character that models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
