The John A Hudak Treatment Center is a new 24/7 Diversion Bed Program which offers an alternative for individuals at risk of hospitalization and an opportunity to stabilize while remaining in the community. Common reasons for referrals for an individual include: Needs oversight for safety, but not actively suicidal; Needs temporary stabilization due to exacerbation of symptoms; Needs respite from real or imagined stressors at home or in the community; Are medication non-compliant, but in agreement to take medication as prescribed if admitted; and, Self-care is significantly impaired.
