About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across 7 states, offering evidence-based clinical curriculum and highly individualized care. Their programs include detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The Behavioral Health Technician manages all daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications. They are also responsible for training and supporting the BHT team, escalating concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician, overseeing client engagement and morale to maintain a positive recovery environment, and ensuring client and BHT compliance with all Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
