About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across 7 states. They offer an evidence-based clinical curriculum and highly individualized care, spanning detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) manages all daily residential operations, trains and supports the BHT team, escalates concerns or crises, oversees client engagement and morale, and ensures compliance with all Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
