About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an inpatient position at the Center for Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, a 69-bed facility at the Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) Somerville Campus in Somerville, MA. CHA Somerville, along with other CHA locations, serves as a teaching hospital for Harvard and Tufts Medical Schools. Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal daysReimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewalMoney toward continuing education eventsUp to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually What You'll Do work primarily in a pediatric/adolescent behavioral health setting; provide inpatient acute care coverage twice weekly at nearby Cambridge Hospital and Everett Hospital; collaborate with the food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management; serve as a respected member of the interdisciplinary team; act as a community and clinical educator, giving presentations on a variety of nutrition topics as needed; work alongside SLP and OT to conduct food exploration activities with patients; and be involved as a clinical instructor and preceptor for dietetic interns. Requirements

Registered Dietitian credential and licensure in MA
excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
strong time management and organizational skills
the ability to work with minimal oversight once trained
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
