Position Summary The Behavioral Health Coordinator is a licensed mental health professional responsible for supporting behavioral health program development for CHIP and other community-based initiatives while advancing behavioral health integration and provider collaboration across Pennsylvania. This role focuses on building and implementing strategies that connect physical health and behavioral health services, particularly for pediatric and family populations. Key responsibilities include: Partnering with behavioral health providers and agencies to design and implement integrated care models within primary care, pediatric, and behavioral health practices. Delivering education and technical assistance to support co-located physical and behavioral health programs, workflows, and operational integration. Collaborating with providers to develop and execute Value-Based Contracts that improve quality outcomes and member experience. This is considered a field based position. Eligible candidates must live in Pennsylvaniea and be able to travel up to 50% in state.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Pennsylvania.
  • Master’s degree in a Behavioral Health field with active clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in behavioral health, including direct work with children and families.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pennsylvania’s behavioral health service delivery system and transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to engage and collaborate with behavioral health providers and community agencies.
  • Ability to travel in state up to 50% for meetings with providers and members

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supervising or managing crisis services.
  • Background in managed care and behavioral health program development.
  • Familiarity with value-based care models and provider contracting.
