About The Position

This position is responsible for providing short-term psychotherapeutic services, including individual, marital, family, and group treatment. The Atlantic Behavioral Health team, comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and licensed clinicians, provides comprehensive mental health services on both inpatient and outpatient bases, including intensive outpatient programs, recognizing the significant role behavioral health plays in the healing process for various patient conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Develops written individual recovery plans.
  • Engages to enhance functioning, effective coping, illness management, self-management, wellness and quality of life.
  • Partners with patient's family, peers, para-professionals and professionals in supporting, monitoring and stabilizing consumers in the community.
  • Participates in community events, human service meetings as appropriate or mandated.
  • Provides case management services.
  • Develops and maintains rich collaborative working relationships with hospital emergency departments, service providers, and agencies.
  • Maintains timely and complete chart documentation.
  • Incorporates use of criteria sets in context of utilization management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
