About The Position

The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of direct line team and outpatient behavioral health programming. This role involves overseeing daily operations for adult and adolescent patients, ensuring services meet quality and compliance standards. Atlantic Health System is a leading non-profit healthcare system headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey, with over 20,000 team members. Atlantic Behavioral Health focuses on providing comprehensive mental health services, including intensive outpatient programs, to support patients dealing with mental health disorders, substance abuse, and emotional challenges related to physical ailments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support direct care team, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Assistant Manager and Manager.
  • Oversee daily operations of outpatient behavioral health outpatient, intensive outpatient and acute partial hospitalization for both adult and adolescent patients ensuring services run efficiently and meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Monitor team productivity and billing practices to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with payer requirements.
  • Ensure patient records are maintained in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and accrediting body standards.
  • Provide leadership in developing and refining programming to meet the needs of the patient population.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated care and positive patient outcomes.
  • Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and other departmental reviews as needed
  • Assist with budget planning and monitoring; identify resource needs and recommend cost-effective strategies
