About The Position

The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in expanding Gosnold Behavioral Health's reach and impact. This individual will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving growth initiatives in line with the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for behavioral health.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or behavioral health industry.
  • Understanding of behavioral health services and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
  • Valid MA driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs to inform strategic planning.
  • Identify and cultivate new business leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and direct outreach.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners, clients, and referral sources.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with current and potential stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and corporate partners.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for partners and clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Present Gosnold Behavioral Health’s services and value proposition effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, clinical, and administrative staff, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Director of Advancement to develop and execute strategic growth plans.
  • Travel regularly within the local area to attend networking events, meet with potential partners and clients, and participate in community outreach activities to build and maintain strong relationships.
